About NextGen Under 30

Do you know any young adult OVER-ACHIEVERS doing amazing things in Kansas and who are 30 years old anytime in 2024 or younger?

The NextGen Under 30 mission is to identify and honor these very talented young adults, to  encourage them to follow their lifetime family and career goals in Kansas.

We encourage you to nominate innovative, creative-thinking, and inspiring young individuals who push the boundaries beyond their years, who are worthy of winning this award.

NextGen Under 30 recognizes and encourages the next generation of innovative, creative, and inspiring individuals who push the boundaries in various categories of endeavor. Award winners are selected based upon their participation in and contribution to their communities. A panel of respected business and civic leaders serve as judges.

Nomination Categories

Adult and Higher Education

Teaching, training, administration, mentor, operations

Advanced Manufacturing

Those involved in the development and application of innovative technologies to improve manufacturing processes and products.

Agriculture & Food Production

Those engaged in the growth of crops and raising of animals to provide food, wool and other products.

Animal Health

Veterinary clinics and professionals, shelters, rescue organizations, pharmaceuticals

The Arts

Performing, visual, literary, as artists, agents, managers, facilitators

Aviation

Any career or job associated with flying or any operation of aricraft

BioTech & AgTech

Those involved in the genetic modification and exploration of biological processes for industrial and medical uses; those involved in the development and application of new technology or the application of existing technology from other sectors to improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of agricultural production.

Distribution & Logistics

Those involved in the post-manufacture process of warehousing, stock control, distribution, transportation and delivery of goods from the factory to the consumer.

Education K-12

Primary and secondary school teaching, training, administration, mentor, operations.

Finance and Banking

Jobs with firms that provide financial services to commercial and retail customers.

Healthcare

Providing medical and health care goods or services.

Hospitality

Restaurants/Foodservice, bars, and hotels.

Attorneys, paralegals, judges, assistants, managers.

Those involved with the conversion of raw materials into finished goods on a large scale using labor, machinery, and tools.

Communication companies of all types, whether print, internet, cable, radio, or video broadcast. Companies associated with buying and selling a product or service, including advertising, selling, and delivering products to people

Any member actively serving or in the reserves of the armed forces of the United States.

Secular or religious organizations formed for the purpose of serving a public or mutual benefit rather than the pursuit or accumulation of owner or investor profit.

Policy and Public Service

Services of all types, from fire fighters to librarians, provided by a government to people living within its jurisdiction, either directly (through the public sector) or by financing provision of services.

Real Estate Development & Services

Rent, buy, or sell property for clients. Perform duties, such as study property listings, interview prospective clients, accompany clients to property site, discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts.
